BackgrounThe Client's Challenge:

Our client, a leading global science-based company, needed to provide standardized Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) training to its diverse, worldwide workforce. The company’s EHS Learning Division had developed a comprehensive training program that included interactive Storyline modules, workbooks, facilitator guides, and badge cards. However, the client faced a significant challenge: how to translate and localize these complex training materials into 14 languages while maintaining accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.

Key Challenges

  • The technical complexity of translating and localizing interactive Storyline modules with layered animations.
  • The need to deliver both individual language files for specific regions and a consolidated 14-language module for broader distribution.
  • The diversity of materials that required translation included a 17-page Training Workbook, a Facilitation Guide, and badge card files.
  • The need for a comprehensive multi-language Excel file to manage and track all translations.
  • Tight timelines, with each module requiring a 4-5 week turnaround.

Our Solution

We provided the client with a full suite of translation and localization services to address these challenges. Our team:

  • Translated and narrated Storyline Module 1, ensuring seamless integration of localized text and audio.
  • Developed individual Storyline files for each of the 14 languages.
  • Created a single, consolidated Storyline module containing all 14 languages.
  • Translated the Training Workbook, Facilitation Guide, and badge card files.
  • Created a comprehensive multi-language Excel file for translation management.

Throughout the project, we emphasized quality assurance and timely delivery, ensuring that all deliverables met the client’s high standards and were completed within the specified deadlines.

Results

By partnering with us, the client was able to:

  • Successfully deliver localized EHS training materials, ensuring consistent safety messaging across their global workforce.
  • Improve accessibility for non-English speaking employees, promoting a more inclusive and safer work environment.
  • Simplify training material management and distribution with both individual and consolidated language files.
  • Maintain consistency in content and messaging across all language versions.

The client expressed high satisfaction with the quality of our services, the accuracy of the translations, and our adherence to the project timeline.
